Perfect Nude Nail Polish (CND)
3.1 Philip Lim F/W 2011
Desert Suede by CND (Creative Nail Design), introduced to me by the beauty team at Jenni Kayne’s F/W 2011, had me at hello.
Here is why:
1)The finish, like all of CND’s Full Colour Line, is a luxe , satiny matte.
2)It’s performance overwhelms its competitors (bye-bye Essie!). My nails looks gorgeous for a week. Minimal chipping. The color is curry resistant. (If curry is a problem for you, you know exactly what I am referring to.)
3)Best yet, two coats are plenty. The polish is initially viscous, but spreads like a dream a brush. NO DRIPS.
4)Despite being incredibly saturated and resilient, the cheapest, gentlest nail polish remover will do in a flash.
5)Most important quality? The color. Harking back to manicures in the Valley of the Dolls, its simply perfect with trendy, inspired looks @ night—- you don’t want to overwhelm a dress with gusto, or daytime/office ensembles. Meant to layer under shimmers and sparkles, see it as a simple solution or the beginning of a new adventure.
If you don’t believe me, believe Sonia Rykiel and Philip Lim. It was their fall pick.
Available at Ulta and Trade Secret. Wide release September 2011
