Ziegfeld Theatre

Just in case you’ve yet to discover Ziegfeld, there is still time! It’s the only expansive single screen cinema in the city. Originally a Broadway theater that was rebuilt in 1966, it’s a New York landmark. Expect high 1930s glamour. This is the place for big budget movie premieres, memorable date nights, and a travel back in time.

Oh Ziegfeld, the stuff that dreams are made of. I can still remember seeing The Little Mermaid here in 19??  Since then, it’s held the crown of my favorite Disney flick, and I am sure the Ziegfeld is why. Red, plush, velvet seats. Luxe drapery covering the walls. Art Deco decor down to the finest details. For an exacting depiction, just remember ‘ Going to the Movies’ in Annie.

For a movie like Attack of the Clones, there is nothing better in the city. This weekend? I’ll settle for the final chapter of Harry Potter.
