The Rapture: Get Myself Into It
David Katz who regularly haunts Kenmare, is switching up his shtick for The Darby. In his words? Kenmare is more “rock”. Indie rock, punk rock, old hits from the 70s… The Darby is “electro, something funky.” I have never been disappointed with a Katz production. The Ph-D July 4th bash was legendary and he did a great job as Paul Sevigny’s replacement for Le Bain’s My Favorite Party.
I wish I got more specifics on what to expect; the only thing Katz would dish is he is feeling The Rapture right now. I am too, so maybe this is a do?

The Darby is an old school supper club that is ore authentic than Juliett and owned by the same people as Butter and 1OAK. The top floor is crimson velvet and cascading chandeliers. The lounge below is slick ebony surfaces, glass panels, and zebra accents. The door gets tight (like 1OAK) but Katz comes on early, so you should be safe.
